I know plenty of Black men and women who are enveloped with self-loathing and trying to denigrate their own people, and one of them is my brother (one of my two brothers that is). He finds everything under the sun wrong with Black women and married two White women, yet divorced one and is in a toxic relationship with the other. He surrounds himself with White people, he's a Trump-lover and believes in all of the Trump ideologies and philosophies. I have no idea how he got this way, but here he is in all of his Black-hating, self-loathing glory. I don't have anything to do with him anymore and my life is all the better for it. He's toxic. You simply can't use logic, facts or try to reason with Black people who have gone down the rabbit hole. They epitomize being in the sunken place. You must chalk them up to a loss and move on for your own mental health.
